Die AVM wurde als Audiovisuelle Medienproduktion 1980 gegründet.
In einem Kellerstudio in Hamburg fing alles an. Schon bald gehörten grosse Markenagenturen wie
Ammirati Lintas, McCann-Erikson, TeamBBDO, Scholz & Friends, Springer & Jacoby und Jung von Matt zu den Kunden.
Von unserem Kellerstudio in der Lichtwarkstrasse in Hamburg zogen wir dann 1991 in eine Fabrikloft und es entstand das AVM moving pictures gmbh.

Ende 2004 zogen wir dann in die Großen Bleichen 36.

Seit April 2007 sind wir in der Hummelsbüttler Hauptstrasse 24 und produzieren hauptsächlich Filme für die Industrie.
Zu unseren Kunden gehören heute die "Hamburgische Bürgerschaft", "Hamburg@work", die OTTO-Group, Mercedes-Benz, PRH-Hamburg
und viele namenhaften Agenturen und Keyplayer.

Von 1980 bis 1987 produzierten wir Filme für die Musikindustrie, für BRIGITTE und diverse Andere.
Von 1987 bis 2007 bestand dann unser Hauptangebot in der Videopostproduction
für Werbespots und TV-Produktionen mit DVD-Mastering, flame, encoding, decoding, mediacomposer, Avid Adrenaline 1 und Avid Adrenaline 2.
Martin Schneider-Hillen schnitt die ersten Musikclips für die neue deutsche Welle. Mit dem Filmcomposer der ersten Stunde wurde für BASF ein
Pipeline-Film geschnitten. Der flame kam 1996 dazu. Der flame entwickelte sich zu dem Werzeug in der Videonachbearbeitung in Hamburg für Special
Effects, Trickfilme und Computeranimationen. Diese Art der Nachbearbeitung fand grossen Anklang in der digitalen Bildbearbeitungsszene von Hamburg.
Finaltouch, Videokopien, Videoüberspielungen, design, screendesign, webdesign, werbespot, commercial, industriefilm, spielfilm, Multimedia, Internetseiten
kamen mehr und mehr zum Aufgabengebiet des Posthouses hinzu. Martin Schneider-Hillen der Gründer der Audiovisuellen Medienproduktion gehört heute
zu den erfahrenen Männern der ersten Stunde der Fersehbildgestaltung in Hamburg. Er übt selbst die Berufe Regie-Kameramann, Editor und EFX-Artist aus
und sorgt so für einen reibungslosen + stressfreien Ablauf in der AVM moving pictures gmbh.
